However, fellow band members Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor all played an integral role in Queen becoming one of music's most beloved bands.
Here we have Freddie Mercury when he performs "Radio Gaga" at the famous Live Aid concert at Wembley Stadium in 1985, which is this author's favorite rock performance. No artist has ever controlled a crowd like him since, it's truly remarkable.
