Wētā Workshop is an award-winning design and manufacturing facility founded by Richard Taylor and Tania Rodger.

For over 30 years, we have applied our innovation and artistry to the creative industries of the world. We take on exciting projects of any size, scope or scale, from the early stages of creative development to manufacturing and delivery almost anywhere in the world. We enjoy working collaboratively with our clients to bring their ideas to life.

From humble beginnings in the back room of their Wellington apartment, Richard and Tania have made Wētā Workshop what it is today. Our 58,000 square foot factory is home to a tight-knit creative team and houses a full range of design and manufacturing departments across multiple disciplines.
