METALTECH (tm) is a trademark of HL PRODUCT on licensed and original mech characters, robots or other vehicles made as die-cast (metal) toys for adult collectors with different features.
The first METALTECH(tm) model ever produced was GRENDIZER from manga series UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER by manga ka GO NAGAI as an original rendering in the year 2008. The latest models were made to be more faithful to the design as in the manga or anime and designed so that no large gaps are visible between joints, such as upper legs or shoulders, even in different poses. METALTECH (tm) was also one of the first die-cast toys to feature "in action outlook" weapon accessories, introduced with the HL PRODUCT line of pvc action figures "capcom vs snk 2", a feature concept original that many companies started using few months later. Also a first in the world of diecast super robot collectible toys, HL PRODUCT has produced models using colors that are true to how they appear in manga or anime, called "anime color ver." or 'manga color ver.', an HL PRO trend that many companies quickly followed.
