Stranger Thingsis an American science fiction horror drama television program created by the Duffer Brothers and broadcast onNetflix. The show is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. The series centers around a group of friends as they investigate many supernatural events happening in the town. They develop a connection with a hostile alternate reality called the "Upside Down" and must find ways to escape it.
