To understand and get along with the people with whom we share our lives, it is important to trust, respect and love each other. Communicating these feelings is the philosophy that guides Sanrio.

Since its founding in 1960, Sanrio has applied our philosophy to everything we do, including planning and selling gifts and greeting cards, editing and printing publications and the Strawberry Newspaper, as well as our theme park activity. Through these efforts, we aim to share and communicate love.

Inspired by our vision of "One World, Connecting Smiles", we aim to realize our business philosophy of "Everyone Gets Along" by creating smiles one person at a time and expanding the circle of happiness further further away.

We want as many people as possible to feel the joy of knowing they have someone to talk to heart to heart, whether they are happy, sad or hurting.
